You mention not wanting to use watercolors, well, i've found acrylics to be useful, and a little easier to control. There is also water color crayons, ever used them? They allow a lot more control, and you can control the amout of wetness, first you draw on the canvas, then add water, that's the best way to use watercolor i've found.

I use watercolour pencils they dont make it to wet and they allow alot of control i just dont like using them up and i dont have skin colors 8 so i have to use regular ones... i only think i have used acrylics once but the ones i see make me want to buy them... but then again i kind of thought that about charcoal and im not to good with that lol thanks anyway!"

Yay, I like your watercolors! ^_^ I wish I was as good using natural media.

:-) Stephen E. Hurlbut replies: "Thankyou, I just quit using them and im about to start using acrylics, i found just what i needed, it was 50 cents for a different package, when the same size in another type was 6 dollars but theyre about the same i guess"

Thanks for the comment on my gallery. You have a nice gallery, nice coloring skills. Cool weres, I like 'Imp' and 'Draigo the werefox' the most out of your gallery. Experimenting with medias and styles, keep up the good work!

Hey steve! I really enjoyed ur drawins n paintins, congratulation for ya!!! U r very creative, i admit that i don't have the same imagination, n this way i appreciate the other's arts!

Hiya there Stephen! Houston made me look at your stuff but I was very immpressed w/ your water colors. pretty good for a 15yr old! well hope to see more stuff in the future. keep it up!!

Hurlbut replies: "Hi, well most of those were last years when I actually bothered to paint my work now all I do is shade -.- But I think I am getting better maybe you should look again in a few weeks, hopefully their except my new work -.- moderators can be cruel sometimes, heh... oh and tell Houston I said thanks LOL"

question!: can moderators get mod’s choice awards 4 ther art/stories, or is that not allowed?

:-) Stephen E. Hurlbut replies: "Yes, moderators certainly can get awarded a moderator’s choice award. However, they are held to the same, if not higher, standards of MCs as everyone else.
